Hoyer & Associates specializes in story-telling communications, media and and public relations.  Hoyer tailors and personalizes for the small business, non-profit or organization that may not have the luxury of in-house support.

My passion is communicating my clients’ stories, their products and services through unique editorial, public and media relations opportunities.

Editorial and Communications

Informative press releases and feature articles are pitched to targeted media, and aligned with editorial calendar content, providing clientele with top exposure!   I am routinely asked by national editors to author pieces that focus on today’s food, healthcare and higher education trends, sustainable practices and customer engagement.  Published pieces that tell your story are valuable to your company’s sales teams as they are the ultimate testimonials when selling to current and prospective customers.

Creative copy is produced for print and digital newsletters; marketing and sales collateral.  I also develop web site content, edit and maintain real-time updates.  A fun process is creating social media campaigns to promote services, customer engagement, as well as to boost employee morale.  In fact, employee campaigns have a competitive effect on teams as “everyone wants to be recognized” – which is a great way to keep your company’s name in the forefront!

 

Public and Media Relations

I create unique public and media relations opportunities that garners the attention of multi-media outlets.  I partner with your onsite marketing and communications executives to develop these opportunities, and provide ideas on how to enhance special events and activities. 

My clients’ stories are covered in national publications, including daily news and local media. The majority of my media relationships are in the mid-Atlantic with contacts in major metropolitan areas including Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Chicago and New York.  

Creative

I partner with designers who will help you create impactful sales pieces or brochures.  What began as a hobby, my photography and videography skills have grown into an add-on service which complements my editorial pieces.  Both still and action photos have been published in national magazines, used in promotional pieces, sales proposals and newsletters.

Capturing sports videos of my children peaked my interest in learning more about video editing and production.  From sports team videos to interviewing customers, I produced several videos that capture game highlights, product launches and special events.
